Bridge Street Clinic is relocating to Port Melbourne Medical

First day of consulting at Port Melbourne Medical will be 2/2/2026

2 December, 2025

Dear Patients,

After 121 years of caring for you at our Bridge Street premises, we are relocating to Port Melbourne Medical. We have made the decision to join PMM and leave our current site which will be closed from 1pm on 28/01/2026. We will commence from the Specialists Centre part of PMM (Shop 3, 405 Bay St) and from mid year 2026, we will join them as they move across the road from their current site, to 460 Bay St, Port Melbourne.

The new location will be modern and custom built to reflect our medical and patient needs, something we are very much looking forward to.

The core team and your records will be with Port Melbourne Medical.

Dr Jack Lipp, Dr Morris Dvash, Dr Michael Gross, Dr Murray Gee, Dr Andrew McMahon and receptionist Rita will be relocating to nearby Port Melbourne Medical.

We will be able to provide the same high standard of care for you there as we have always done at BSC.

We will continue to have access to all your medical history and records, which continue to be stored securely on our cloud server. You can continue to contact us on our current BSC phone number or other methods, as these will be redirected to Port Melbourne Medical.

About Port Melbourne Medical:

Port Melbourne Medical is a well-known and respected medical clinic with a large cohort of doctors and nurses providing care 7 days a week and most public holidays. Two Melbourne Pathology collectors are also onsite 7 days a week. There is also ample free street parking out the front of the building and in the immediate area.

We expect a seamless transition – the Bridge St team and your records will be available, and we encourage our existing patients to continue seeing us for their ongoing care. Please call us on 03 9646 3551 to make an appointment.

GETTING THERE:

Light Rail to North Port Station #127 via tram numbers 109, 35 or 70. Bus #234 and exit bus at Raglan St & Crockford St, Port Melbourne.

Record Transfer to another clinic:

If you would prefer your medical records, be transferred to an alternative clinic, please contact your new clinic as you will need to complete a Request To Transfer Medical Records form which will then be sent to Bridge Street Clinic via fax 03 9646 4007 or via email to bsc@bridgestreetclinic.com.au
BSC will coordinate the record transfer and your records will be exported securely and sent to your new preferred clinic. An administrative fee will be incurred.
